Run healthcare operations. Find healthcare talent.

Paloma Health Technologies publishes two products. Paloma Cares runs the operating chain of a healthcare agency, from the patient to the revenue. Paloma Talent finds the clinicians who deliver the care and keeps the evidence behind each candidate visible through recruiting and hiring. Each stands on its own; together they work from the same context.

Care creates demand. Workforce fulfills it. Paloma connects the two.

Paloma Cares

Paloma Cares is the healthcare operations platform. Paloma Talent is the independent workforce platform. Paloma Clinical is the current agency operations application on Paloma Cares, the one an agency runs its day on: one record for the whole operation, used by the intake coordinator, the scheduler, the nurse in the home, the director of nursing, the biller, the person responsible for personnel files and the owner. Nobody re-keys what somebody else already entered.

It is built for organizations that deliver care outside the hospital and are held to account for it by several parties at once: a pharmacy or payer that wants proof of the visit, a physician whose order governs it, a state or accrediting body that will inspect the records, and a clinician who expects to be paid correctly.

The workWhat Paloma Clinical does with it
A referral arrivesThe packet is read and a patient, drug, dose, route, frequency and prescriber are proposed for a person to confirm. The source document stays attached to what was taken from it.
An order governs careOne order is in force on any date. A revision is a new order, never an edit, so the nurse charts against what the prescriber actually signed.
A clinician is assignedLicense, verification, competencies and health records are read by date before the assignment, and a visit the file cannot support is stopped or flagged when it is booked.
A visit is madeA guided note on the clinician’s phone, specific to the service line and discipline, saved as the clinician works, with a dose that does not match the order identified before signing.
A note is reviewedEvery submitted note reaches clinical review, where it is approved or returned for correction with the reason recorded.
The customer is toldDocumentation goes back in the form that pharmacy or payer requires, and authorized users at that pharmacy can access role-appropriate information for their pharmacy.
The visit is billedReviewed visits become invoice or claim lines priced by the agreement that governs them. A completed visit that has not been billed is shown with the reason and its owner.
The agency is inspectedOrders, reviews, credentials and incidents are kept as dated evidence where the work was done, and a surveyor can be given time-limited, read-only access in which every view is recorded.

The reasoning behind each of those rows is set out on the platform page, and the reason compliance sits at the center is on continuous compliance. How the product looks is shown on palomacares.com, with a working demonstration agency that anyone can open.

Who works in it

An operating system is judged by whether each person in the agency can do their own job in it without asking someone else for a copy. Paloma Clinical is organized around those people.

  • Intake and coordination. A referral becomes a patient, an order and a staffing requirement in one pass, with the customer’s own requirements already attached.
  • Scheduling. Visits are booked against the order’s frequency, the authorization that remains and the clinicians who are ready for that patient on that date.
  • Clinicians in the field. The day’s visits, the governing order and a guided note on a phone, with nothing to re-enter at home.
  • Clinical leadership. A review queue of every submitted note, the exceptions that need a decision, and the standing of each clinician’s file.
  • Billing. What can be billed, what cannot and exactly why, priced from each customer’s terms.
  • The owner or administrator. What needs attention today across patients, staff clearance, clinical review and billing, as a list of specific items.
  • The agency’s customers. Authorized pharmacy users can access role-appropriate information for their pharmacy, such as assigned patients, reviewed clinical information, referrals or invoices.

Paloma Talent

Paloma Talent is a workforce product for any healthcare organization: a home infusion agency, an infusion suite, a Medicare-certified home health agency, a hospice, a private duty company, a Medicaid or VA provider, a staffing company. It does not depend on the organization’s service line, and it does not depend on using Paloma Cares.

It starts from what the organization needs: a role, the skills the work implies, a place and a date. It returns people near that place, with the evidence behind each match kept visible, and it keeps that evidence with the candidate through contact, application and hire. A prospect is a lead and is described as one: a license reads as unverified until the organization verifies it through its own hiring process.

Clinicians use the other side of the same product. Open healthcare roles are published without naming the client, and a clinician builds one profile that can be used for more than one opportunity.

The public Paloma Talent jobs board: a list headed Roles we’re actively recruiting for, each role with its title, city, schedule and discipline and a button to apply with a résumé, beside filters for role, location and schedule. No employer is named.
Paloma Talent: the public jobs board at talent.palomacares.com, captured October 11, 2026. Open roles by discipline and city; no client is named and no candidate is shown.

Paloma Talent stands on its own as a healthcare workforce platform. The public jobs board reflects active recruiting demand, and the same network is what a patient-driven staffing need in Paloma Cares extends into.

The two together

Either product is useful alone. The advantage of using both is the join between them. By the time a referral is confirmed, the clinical record already holds what a recruiter would ask for: where care will be delivered, the therapy, the disciplines permitted, the frequency and the start date. In most organizations someone leaves the chart, opens a job board and describes all of that again.

With both products, staffing is searched from the patient’s chart. The organization’s own eligible clinicians come first, measured against the same readiness rules the schedule enforces. When nobody on the roster can cover the case, the same requirement extends to Paloma Talent, with no patient-identifying details leaving the agency. The clinician who is hired enters the agency’s own file, and the visit is scheduled from it.

Before deciding

Three ways to see it first.

What does not change with the product

The same commitments hold in both products. A fact is recorded once and read everywhere. A value the system does not hold is shown as missing, never filled with a default. A typed credential, an uploaded copy and a check with the issuing source are named differently, because they are different levels of assurance. Each agency’s records are separated from every other agency’s where the data is kept, not only on the screen. And an agency can take a complete copy of its own data out.

Service lines and payers are added to the same record, so an organization that grows into a second line of business keeps one roster, one set of patients, one compliance record and one set of books. Why the lines are taken one at a time →

Questions

The products: common questions

What is the difference between Paloma Cares, Paloma Clinical and Paloma Talent?

Paloma Cares is the healthcare operations platform Paloma Health Technologies publishes. Paloma Clinical is its current agency operations application: intake, orders, scheduling, documentation, review, workforce readiness, billing and compliance. Paloma Talent is the independent workforce platform that finds clinicians and keeps the evidence behind each candidate visible through recruiting and hiring. They are sold separately or together.

Does an organization have to use both products?

No. An agency can run its operations on Paloma Clinical without Paloma Talent, and any healthcare organization can hire through Paloma Talent without Paloma Clinical. Used together, a patient’s need in the clinical record becomes the staffing requirement without being described a second time.

How is Paloma Clinical priced?

Published prices, monthly or annual, with every Clinical capability included in either Clinical offer. The published offers have no feature tiers. The current figures are shown on this page from the same offer catalogue that checkout uses.

How is Paloma Talent priced on its own?

Standalone Paloma Talent uses a placement-fee model. Under the combined Clinical and Talent plan there is no placement fee when the organization hires through Paloma Talent.

Can an agency start without a sales call?

Yes. An agency can create its own account from the published price and begin setup. A guided demonstration is offered for anyone who prefers one, and a demonstration agency with synthetic data is open to look at without signing up.

Who is Paloma Cares for?

Organizations that deliver care outside the hospital: home infusion and specialty pharmacy nursing agencies, home health agencies, private duty and personal care companies, hospices, infusion suites, providers serving Medicaid and VA programs, and healthcare staffing companies. Which service lines the product supports is listed on this page from Paloma Cares’ own capability record.
